An NBC26 Cares Follow Up.
Literacy Green Bay held its largest fundraiser of the year on Thursday night a "scrabble bee" at Legends Brewhouse in De Pere.
Besides playing scrabble, people could bid on auction items and enjoy a great dinner. All the money raised will fund Literacy Green Bay's english tutoring programs and classes.
The goal is to raise $42,000 and NBC26 today anchor Jennifer Dodd was happy to help the cause, serving as the emcee for the event.
