You've seen the commercials. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers teams up with lawyer David Gruber and the MACC Fund to surprise local kids who've fought cancer and sickle cell disease.
12-year-old Dijon Williams was born with sickle cell anemia. His mom Carmen was heartbroken. "It was just real hard to see your son in pain like that, and you can't do anything about it," she said.
After years of treatments, doctors decided to perform a bone marrow transplant. Dijon's little brother Devon was his donor.
"We called him superman, because he saved his life," Carmen says.
Carmen remembers when she found out that Dijon was picked as one of the children Aaron Rodgers would visit.
"I was so excited, I was so excited, I was like God, he's gonna remember this for the rest of his life," she beams.
During the visit, Dijon's favorite Packer gave him some football pointers and tried to beat Dijon at Madden.
"I blew him out, he wasn't that good at that," Dijon jokes. He adds, "I was beating him on my defense. He threw at least 2 interceptions, and only like one touchdown."
But it's the Packers star's compassion that the family will always remember.
"I promise you he was just down to earth, and that really surprised me, and he made you feel comfortable," Carmen recalls.
Dijon hopes the video helps inspire other kids to keep on fighting. "They're gonna get better, and things are gonna be alright," he said.
