Green Bay Gamblers Make a Special Delivery
GREEN BAY - Children being treated at a Green Bay hospital received a very special delivery Monday.
Saturday night, the Green Bay Gamblers hosted a Teddy Bear Toss, where they collected thousands of teddy bears from fans. Monday, the bears were given out by Gamblers players to kids at Aurora Baycare Medical Center.
"A teddy bear is a feel good thing for that kid and throughout the years we've heard back from people about how much that teddy bear has meant for that particular kid, so again, I just can't say enough," said Terry Charles with PMI Entertainment Group. "It's a great event for us and it's grown every year."
Close to 7,000 bears were collected during Saturday's toss.
