Death Investigation on Lake Winnebago
UPDATE: The name of the victim has been released. Deputies say 31 year-old Sara Meyer died in the shanty. The man, 37 year-old Travis Duchow was flown to a local hospital. There is no update on his condition.
CALUMET COUNTY, WI – The Calumet County Sheriffs Dept. is investigating a death on Lake Winnebago.
Deputies responded to a medical call about ½ mile off of Ecker Lakeland Dr. involving a 37-year-old man and 31-year-old woman. Both were found unresponsive.
The man was flown to a hospital by helicopter, and the woman was pronounced dead on scene.
Names are being withheld, and an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
