DE PERE, WI -- Runners are trading in their shorts and t-shirts for thermals and parkas today at the second annual Warrior Run at Mid Vallee golf course. The event raises several thousands of dollars for the Desert Veterans of Wisconsin. The cold didn't stop people. More than one hundred runners, walkers, and snowshoers registered. Snow and ice were not removed from the course, making it more of a challenge.
