Packers Charges Dismissed
Linebacker Walden Cleared of Disorderly Conduct
A Brown County just dismissed disorderly conduct charges against Packers linebacker Erik Walden Friday morning. The dismissal was part of a deferred prosecution agreement. Walden had to agree to complete at least 50 hours of community service and keep his record clean.
Friday Walden's attorney, Steven Richards, who showed up in court without him, told the judge his client had met the terms of the agreement. All charges were dismissed.
The charges stem from a November 2011 domestic disturbance incident involving his live in girlfriend. Richards said his client is relieved to have this behind him.
"The whole incident caused a great deal of concern for him and I think it was just really an unfortunately situation," Richards said.
