DE PERE, --There's a new "Miss Green Bay Area"! Allyson Binversie of Manitowoc wins the pageant, which was held at St Nortbert College.
Binversie competed against seven other girls for the title.
Her platform was "buy fresh, buy local," promoting spending money in your community.
Now that she's won. Binversie says looks forward to the future.
"I look forward to representing the Green Bay area at the state level at Miss Wisconsin, I really feel honored to have earned this title and to represent the area at that level" said Binversie.
Erin Schuessler won miss Green Bay's outstanding teen.
Her platform was "Leader Dogs for the Blind."
She plans to organize a 5 -K run to promote the organization.
