Wolf Hunt Memorial
MADISON, WI -- Animal lovers in Madison are remembering the wolves that were killed in the state's first wolf hunt. 117 wolves were killed by hunters this season but not without controversy.
Candles were lit and then blown out for each of those wolves. The vigil organizer says she'd like to see similar events for all of the hunts.
The memorial comes a week after a judge settled a lawsuit over the wolf hunt. The judge ruled hunters could use dogs to hunt the animals, but that they cannot be specifically trained to do so.
