ASHWAUBENON - Leaders with the WIAA State Basketball Tournament were in Ashwaubenon Friday to unveil the new logo for the 2013 Girls Basketball Championships.
The organization voted to move the girls tournament from Madison to the Resch Center last spring. Workers with PMI Entertainment Group say they hope the move will turn into a long-term agreement.
"It's a big-time atmosphere. It's a big arena, and probably the ideal spot for the tournament," said WIAA Spokesman Todd Clark.
The tournament is set to be held in Ashwaubenon through at least 2020. This year's championships get underway on March 14th.
