GREEN BAY - The Saint John's Homeless Shelter has pleaded not guilty to violating its conditional use permit.

The shelter has been facing fines since late December for going over their 64-person capacity. The plea means next week's hearing in municipal court is no longer needed.

St. Norbert College in De Pere has been hosting overflow from the shelter for the past few weeks, but students return to campus on January 21st, meaning they'll no longer be able to host the extra people.
