GREEN BAY, WI -- We're just one day away from the Packers and 49er’s game in San Francisco.

Fans here at home are sending their support with the team as players and coaches take off from Austin Straubel International Airport today.

A few dozen die-hard Green and Gold fans lined the hallways at the airport just trying to catch a glimpse of their favorite players, and wishing them well.

Matthew Bell and his family are waiting patiently for their favorite players, and getting some autographs.

“Getting signatures,” said Matthew.

Today is a special and unexpected treat for the family from the Upper Peninsula who now live in Singapore.

“Our flight got canceled, so this was a big bonus to see all the Packers come in,” said Meredith Bell.

Many players, including Aaron Rodgers, Clay Matthews and Donald Driver hit the hallway to board the plane.

“It's cool to see them in more of a human light before they get on the field,” said Aly Nemecek, a Packers fan. “That’s one of the best things about the Packer’s organization, that we can actually have more of a close-up view of the Packers.”

The fans that are waiting to meet the team have high hopes for tomorrow’s game.

“A big win,” said Nemecek. “And then, as much as I don’t want to cheer for the Seahawks, a big Seahawks win, so we can take revenge next week.”

The plane took off from Austin Straubel around 1:00 p.m. It was a direct flight to San Francisco, and the team landed around 4:00 p.m. our time.
