Fire Displaces 5 in Appleton Duplex
APPLETON, WI – Five people are out of their home tonight after a fire in Appleton.
It happened Sunday morning around 7:30 at 1103 North Superior Street.
When crews arrived, they found fire and smoke in the basement, it was quickly put out.
The fire was caused by a malfunctioning water-heater. There is no damage totals at this time.
