CHILTON, WI -- Some areas in the Fox Valley are seeing a lot more snow than others.
In Chilton, they received about a foot of snow. Today, dozens of people are still shoveling, snow-blowing and sprinkling salt.
Kenneth Pingel has lived in Chilton more than half his life.
"February will be 42 years," he said.
He stayed in when the storm hit Thursday, but now, it's clean up time. He's seen his fair share of tough storms, but this one wasn't so bad.
“I didn't like it, but what can you do with Mother Nature,” said Pingel.
Other neighbors are out, getting sidewalks and drive-ways cleared off.
“The wind was pretty strong and there was some drifts and stuff, ice on the roads. You have to be careful,” said Jackie Bloedorn, who lives in between Hilbert and Chilton.
Areas around Chilton, Oshkosh and Marinette also saw power outages.
“Those areas further south received more wet, heavy snow, as a result, we had more outages,” said Kerry Spees, with Wisconsin Public Service.
“The power went out for like, maybe 10 seconds, went back on again. That happened to me like two or three times,” said Jackie Bloedorn from Chilton.
Most of the power has been restored. But windy conditions could leave more people in the dark this evening.
“We don't expect it to be too bad, but I’m sure we'll see something,” said Spees.
