Shawano Co. Crash Kills One
TOWNSHIP OF ANIWA – Authorities have released the name of a man who died in a crash in Shawano County over the weekend. They have identified him Thomas V. Koszarek of Antigo.
The crash happened on Sugar Brush Rd. just south of Now Rd. around noon Saturday.
The coroner said the man may have died before the crash. Police say drugs, alcohol or slushy/icy road conditions were not a factor.
Police explain Koszarek car crossed the centerline, and both cars ended up in ditch.
Patricia White, of Antigo, the driver of the other car was treated at Aspirus Hospital.
