Thanksgiving at Lambeau Field
Hundreds of people filled the Lambeau Field atrium Thursday afternoon for a Thanksgiving feast that was fit for a football team. The 10th annual Thanksgiving Day dinner was sponsored by Christian Outreach" which provides families in need with a special holiday meal. Nearly 1,000 people enjoyed turkey, dressing and pumpkin pie.
"It is important because there is a need out there not only for the people that aren't able to have a Thanksgiving meal with their family but also for all the volunteers. We definitely get a lot out of coming here today," said Jessica Zeitler with Christian Outreach.
More than 1,100 meals were also prepared and delivered to those who were unable to leave their homes for the dinner.
