Horse Safety During Deer Gun Hunt
As the DNR looks forward to another safe deer gun hunting season, horse owners are taking extra precautions.
The DNR does not keep statistics of animals accidentally shot during hunting season, but the safety warden says those types of accidents do happen.
Hunter gun safety courses have been successful in limiting the number of people accidentally shot, but there's always a chance other animals, including horses, could be shot.
