APPLETON, WI --It's something most parents think about, how to help your children learn better.

Saturday morning the 4th annual charter school fair of Appleton kicked off. It was free and open to the public at the City Center Plaza.

The fair's goal is to educate families in Wisconsin about the purpose of charter schools and how the teachings of those schools could help different learning styles.

"We have an opportunity to really talk to a lot of community members and families to try and help them make a match for their particular child," said Judy Baseman, with the Appleton Area School District.
