Rodgers, Braun restaurant to hold benefit for Brookfield shooting victims
BROOKFIELD - The owners of 8-Twelve restaurant, including Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Brewers slugger Ryan Braun, have announced their plans to raise money for the children of the Brookfield spa shooting victims.
They have organized a fundraising event for Monday night, November 12th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the restaurant on West Bluemound Road in Brookfield.
Tickets will cost $100.
TODAY'S TMJ4's Susan Kim will emcee the night.
The Packers, Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Wave and others will contribute to a silent auction.
"As a business new to the city, we are deeply saddened by this terrible act of violence. We are strongest when we work together and we invite our neighbors and friends to come together to show strength and support," said Omar Shaikh of the SURG restaurant group in a statement.
