OSHKOSH-- Vice President Joe Biden was joined by Sen. Herb Kohl and others as he delivered an impassioned plea for democrats to get to the polls November.  Biden reminding the UWO crowd of the important  role the swing state of Wisconsin is playing in the race for the white house.

Biden criticized Romney’s 47 percent comment, even poking fun at Romney’s response in the second debate when asked about equal pay for women.

"What did he do, he starts talking about binders,” Biden said.

Biden spent several minutes talking about the stark differences between the two parties' tax plans.

"People making an average of 8 million dollars year don't need another tax cut, they are not even asking for it,” he said.

He also touched on the president's stance promoting higher education, gay rights, health care, women's issues and the military.

“As a woman and having a family member deployed those are kind of the two points that really hit home with me,” said student Tina Checkie.

"I’m a 20 year old queer woman, the campaign is very important to me, overall, every issue that he talked about hits home,” said student Jade Troha.

Supporters are thankful for Biden’s visit.

"I shook his hand, I was in tears,” another student said.

That's exactly the emotional reaction Biden and the democrats hope will provide victory in Wisconsin.

Biden did not mention the layoffs at Oshkosh Corp. The Romney campaign is blaming those job cuts on Obama’s military spending cuts.
