Financial Literacy Summit
GREEN BAY -- More than 200 teachers filled Lambeau Field today to learn more about money. It was the second annual Summit on Financial Literacy. It's meant to give local educators the tools they need to teach students more about managing their money.
"Problems people get into with credit card debt ot that kind of stuff we just feel like a better trained.. if people were trained at a youger age in this area less of these problems would occur and they'd better be able to manage their futures as they get older," said Lakeland College Economics Professor Scott Niederjohn.
The summit also focused on helping students prepare for college and student loans.
