"Convoy of Hope"
APPLETON, WI-- Struggling families in Northeast Wisconsin are getting some help this weekend with free food.
The Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin distributed thousands of pounds of canned goods during the “Convoy of Hope” Saturday morning at Fox Valley Tech.
Families were also able to participate in free health screenings, job fairs, haircuts and much more.
"You know my husband and I are both actually out here volunteering and it just really is gratifying to give back and serve people in our local community," said Barb Dreger, a “Convoy of Hope” Volunteer.
Feeding America distributes more than five million pounds of food in Northeast Wisconsin.
