Three children are in the hospital after police say they were abducted in Fond du Lac. It all began in Oshkosh Monday evening when investigators say a 19-year-old man was involved in a domestic battery incident with the mother of the children.
According to police, the man drove to Fond du Lac and abducted the woman's children from a home. He continued traveling south where police caught up with the car in Menomonee Falls and a chase ensued.
The man eventually crashed his car. He was taken into custody while the three children, ages three, four and five were transported to the hospital.
The extent of their injuries is unknown. Police say the man is expected to face kidnapping charges in Fond du Lac with other charges possible in Oshkosh and Menomonee Falls.
