Kiel Robbery Suspect in Custody
KIEL, WI – Kiel Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly robbed the Kiel Mobil gas station last weekend. This happened Sunday, Sept. 23 around 11:00 p.m. Police say the man robbed the store with a hammer, and then fled on foot with cash and cigarettes.
Early this morning, Sept. 29, around 12:45 a.m., police helped New Holstein Police arrest a 27 year-old man in connection with the robbery. Police were serving a search warrant.
The man was later taken to the Manitowoc County Jail, where he is being held on charges of armed robbery and bail jumping.
“I anticipate additional charges will also be filed once our evidence technicians complete their evidence analysis,” said Dave Funkhouser, Chief of Police.
