Packers Pleased by Ref Labor Agreement

Word of the deal between the NFL and the NFLRA may have been received in the Packer locker room differently than others around the league, but they are exhaling the same way as the rest of the NFL.
"Anything that improves the quality of play, I feel very good about it," said Head Coach Mike McCarthy.
"I think when you have people [who are] supposed to be in this position, supposed to be in this league, you'll see good things come from it," added B.J. Raji.
"It's about time", said Jordy Nelson, "but I wasn't jumping up and down or anything."
Headlines of Seattle's victory Monday night jumped off front pages across the country, in what many believed may have galvanized the league and locked out officials into getting a deal done. M.D. Jennings does not see that controversial play as a tipping point.
"I wouldn't say one play ended it, I think it was going to end regardless."
"It probably sped it up," said Ryan Pickett. "But I mean, this needed to get done a long time ago. They got it done now and we're happy about it. Moving forward."
Wide Receiver James Jones said the top tier of the game deserved better than junior college and high school officials and he is happy to see the locked out refs back.
"I'm not saying they aren't going to mess up, but I'm confident in them that they'll make the right calls,"
"The little things you might get away with," said Pickett. "With the other officials, you won't have the liberty of getting away with [cheap shots]. You know, the chop blocks and things like that."
T.J. Lang, who now owns the most re-tweeted tweet in the history of Twitter, said it does not matter who officiates the Packers and Saints game Sunday.
The fact remains the Packers are 1-2, he said. They have plenty of work left to do in the 13 weeks remaining games this season.
