The SS Badger which runs between Manitowoc and Ludington, Michigan is extending its season on Lake Michigan to help transport equipment for the wind power industry. The car ferry has reached an agreement with General Electric to operate until November 2nd. Its season was previously scheduled to end on October 14th.
