ASHWAUBENON, WI – Local firefighters are wearing a fashionable color, pink! And it’s all to promote Breast Cancer Awareness.
This is the fifth year the Ashwaubenon and Bellevue firefighters are proudly wearing specially designed pink t-shirts.
As part of the fundraiser, firefighters are out in the community with a pink fire boot in hand, to receive donations for the breast cancer family foundation.
“The Bellevue Fire Dept., we take pride in helping different types of fundraisers, and this is a good cause and we are glad to do it,” said Michael Navin, with the Bellevue Fire Dept.
Next Saturday, Ashwaubenon firefighters will be at the Bay Park Square food court entrance collecting donations.
