GREEN BAY, WI - A new era begins Saturday for area Harley Davidson fans. Vandervest Harley Davidson celebrated its grand opening in Howard with country music bands, food, and motorcycle enthusiasts from across the state.
Hundreds came out for the celebration and to check out the newly released 2013 Harley models, as well as the special 110th anniversary bike.
"This has been a long time coming for Green Bay. We're just so excited to finally have a dealership here in Green Bay. Everybody is looking forward to some really good times we're going to offer some really good service here in Green Bay," Rick Vandervest, the owner.
The new dealership is located off Highway 41 on Velp Avenue. The Green Bay area has been without a Harley store since 2010 when the last dealer closed its doors.
