Police Run Steps on 9/11
Appleton-- More than 20 from Appleton's police department, set out to climb the bleacher steps at the Banta Bowl. It was a tiring tribute to the rescue workers that died going up the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001, to get people out.
The run was no easy feat, taking most people between one and two hours to complete. This is the second year for Appleton's 9/11 Memorial Challenge. Police hope to host it again next year.
