This happened in the 100 block of E. Division St around 1:30 p.m. Police say the 82-year old woman was getting out of her car and walking into her home, when a man,  “bear hugged” her around the torso and arms and took her purse while she was trying to use her keys to open the door. The suspect then fled with her purse in a southwest direction on foot. The victim believes the suspect was wearing dark pants and was a white male.
