Problem Gambling Picks Up

GREEN BAY, WI--As the NFL season heats up sports betters gamble away, sometimes more then they bargain for. The Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling says 333,000 Wisconsinites are gambling addicts. Some losing their life savings because of it.

One gambling addict tells us he bet $25,000 on a Packers superbowl game. He lost his life savings and couldn't pay his debts.

 

"You get so nuts that your mind just starts to explode you don't think about the real facts of life you don't think about what the real value of money is." said Mark Wesenberg of Winneconne.
