Food Pantry Needs Your Help
ALGOMA, WI--The Kewaunee County Food Pantry is fighting to keep their building so they don't have to close their doors.
Pantry leaders say they help more than 400 people a month in Kewaunee County put food on the table. They hope a fundraiser Sunday in Algoma will help them get the money they need to continue serving the community.
Last April the food pantry lost their sponsor because of a drop in federal funding. Pantry leaders took out a big loan to keep the building, but now they're hoping the community can help them pay off that loan.
