Attempted Armed Robbery in De Pere
DE PERE, WI -- A man is behind bars tonight in connection with an attempted armed robbery in De Pere. It happened around 10:45 Saturday morning at Walgreens on Main Street in De Pere. Police say the suspect 24-year-old Jonathon House was armed with scissors jumped the pharmacy counter and demanded Oxycontin. When employees refused to give it to him he fled the store. Officers got a description of House's car. And later found him in the 31-hundred block of Standing Stone Drive in Hobart where he confessed to the incident. Police are recommending he be charged with attempted armed robbery.
