Home Rental Scam On Craigslist
Green Bay-- A warning from Green Bay police tonight if you're looking to rent a home on Craigslist.
Police are investigating a report of a scam. They say the Craigslist ad uses the real name and address of an actual homeowner who has a house for sale.
But investigators say the ad claims the house is for rent not for sale and requires a 700-dollar security deposit.
The contact for the ad is a foreign phone number. Officers advise everyone be cautious with ads like this.
