Bike Safety Concerns
APPLETON, WI- A bicyclist rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning after being hit by a car in De Pere and another hit by a car and killed in Marathon County, raising concerns on the dangers of biking.
It's one group's mission to make the roads a safer place.
The Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin says there are about a dozen deadly bike -car crashes in the state each year. And the majority are caused by either drivers or bicyclists not following the rules of the road.
