DE PERE-- The high heat and humidity did not stop hundreds of kids from coming out for the "Get Active, Move, and Eat Smart" or "G.A.M.E.S at Legion Park. The heat index was near 100 degrees, but organizers took extra precautions to keep kids safe.
Seven communities' parks and recreations departments came together to sponsor the event. They plan to do it again next year.
