It took a jury less than an hour to find Francis Grady guilty. Grady was convicted of arson and damaging a reproductive health facility in federal court Monday. Back in April, Grady allegedly set off an explosive device inside a Planned Parenthood in Grand Chute.

Several witnesses took the stand including Grady. He told the court he said a "prayer to all the children killed" at Planned Parenthood before lighting it up.

"He was a good brother. If you wanted something done he'd come and help you. He would help anybody,” Grady’s sister Anne Hoffman said.

Now all Hoffman wants to do is help her brother.

"I thought it would be a little different. I mean not that he didn't do it, but it wasn't malicious. Maybe that'll help with his sentence. I don't know,” Hoffman said.

Francis Grady showed little emotion after he was found guilty on both counts. He admitted in court to filling a water bottle with gas, then busting a window at the facility, and setting the bottle on fire.

"Certainly we'll consult with some of the representatives with Planned Parenthood and get their input. They're victims in these offenses. They have every right to be here and provide input to the court on sentencing as well,” prosecutor Bill Roach said.

There was also a video confession shown in court of Grady admitting to the crime. Grady laughed to himself as he watched the video.

"It's difficult going to trial with a confession, but then again I enjoyed working with Mr. Grady. He was difficult at the start, but was a good client at the end,” defense attorney Tom Phillip said.

Grady faces at least 5 years behind bars for the arson charge, but Hoffman just wants her brother back.

"He's got his prayers with the Lord,” Hoffman said.
We tried talking to Grady after court, but he told us he has nothing more to say. His sentencing is set for October 9th.
