GREEN BAY-- A Green Bay woman is behind bars for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death.
Police are recommending Lois Pilar Velaszquez faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide.
It happened around two Sunday morning inside Velaszquez's apartment off South Quincy Street. Officers say Velaszquez and her 35-year-old boyfriend got into a heated argument. That's when she reportedly grabbed several knives--stabbing her boyfriend once in the chest.
When police got there they say Velaszquez was administering first aid. But her boyfriend was rushed to the hospital where he later died. His name is not being released.
