Grab your poles! It's the weekend anglers around Northeast Wisconsin have been waiting for! Opening day of inland fishing!

According to the DNR, Wisconsin anglers catch about 88-million fish and keep 33 million of them.


While walleye is the top target, panfish are the most frequently caught. The DNR says about 1-point-4 million licenses are sold each year in the state.
