It's Draft Day!
Round one of the 2012 NFL Draft starts tonight at 7 p.m. The draft will be held over the course of three days. Among the top prospects are Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck and Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.
The Packers have plenty of needs this season, especially on defense. But with a lack of pass rush, Boise State outside linebacker Shea Mcclellin is the top choice of mock drafts, along with Michigan State's Jerel Worthy who could turn a weakness into a strength. It's likely the Packers won't make their first pick until after 10 p.m. tonight.
You can watch all of the action, right as it unfolds, at this year's drafty party held inside Lambeau Field, starting at 6 p.m. at Curly's Pub. The event is free and open to the public. Ted Thompson, Mark Murphy, and Coach Mike McCarthy will all be there, along with NBC 26, your Official Packers Station. We'll talk live with coach McCarthy and a few of the players starting on NBC 26 Live at Five with coverage lasting through the night.
