MARINETTE, WI - New jobs are coming to Marinette. Winsert announced it is hiring 92 workers.
The company makes parts for engines and the food industry. Leaders say the expansion project will have a positive impact on the local economy.
Trisha Dickinson Lemery, Winsert President & CEO says, "I think with Winsert and other businesses in the area that are doing quite well, our unemployment level will go down significantly. As a matter of fact, we're having a hard time recruiting right now."
The company is looking to add workers in research and development, on the shop floor and in the office. Winsert says the expansion is made possible through state tax credits and financing.
