GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WI - A mysterious light in the skies over Wisconsin had people calling the National Weather Service.
This unusually colorful shooting star lit up the sky last night. An observatory at UW-Madison caught the meteor on long-range video. It was only visible for about 12 seconds but it left an impression on those who saw it. They described it as a yellow and red ball that sparkled like a firecracker.
