Oaklawn Referendum Passes
OSHKOSH--Voters said "yes" to a $13 million referendum to rebuild Oaklawn Elementary School on its current site. The school has struggled for years with aging facilities and overcrowded classrooms. If the referendum didn't pass, the school was going to shut down--forcing the students to go to other schools in Oshkosh.
The referendum passing was huge for Oaklawn parents and teachers. Its been on the ballot for years and failed each time.
