Oneida, WI - Opponents of a gasification plant in Green Bay are now planning a business boycott.

Wednesday, a group delivered petitions promising not to spend their money at any businesses owned by the Oneida tribe.

Oneida Seven Generations plans to build a plant to turn garbage into power, but neighbors say they're concerned about the environment and want the project stopped.

"These people are upset. Upset about what they were told and what the actual truth is and now they are wanting to do something about it," said Dean Hoegger with the Clean Water Action Council.

Last week, the group rallied outside city hall, but Mayor Schmitt says he backs the project. It's also received approval from the DNR and the EPA.

Construction is set to start this spring.
