Milwaukee, WI - There could soon be another democrat in the race to take on Governor Walker in a recall election.
It's expected that Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett will announce this week if he will run in a democratic primary.
NBC26 went to other democrats who are gearing up to run and asked them about Barrett.
"He, of course, is caught in a bit of a bind, because he needs to get elected mayor on April 5th, I believe it is, and then he has to immediately decide if he wants to give up that job," said Secretary of State Doug La Follette.
"I worked very hard for him a year and half ago and he didn't win. I hope he will endorse me this time," said Former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk.
As for Governor Walker, he tells NBC26 that his challenger doesn't matter.
