Tornado Relief Scams
Green Bay, WI - The Better Business Bureau says the recent tornadoes in the Midwest are sparking scams.
The bureau says people can check their website to see of a charity website is real.
People should always ask how much of their donation is actually going towards disaster relief.
"We don't want to dilute money that could go to charities that are really affected, by sending it off either to scammers or to less effective charities. Make sure that our money does as much as it possibly can," said Joellen Wollangk with the B.B.B.
