Coping With The Loss In Cambellsport
CAMPBELLSPORT, Wis. (AP) - Classes resume at Campbellsport High School Monday morning, but the focus will be on coping with the loss of three teenage students killed in a weekend crash. Six other
students are injured when their SUV left a road and flipped over. The high school in the small community of 2,000 was open during the weekend as students, parents and others came to share their grief. Sixteen-year-old Katie Berg died Sunday at Froedtert (FRAY'-dert) Hospital in Milwaukee of injuries suffered in the crash early Saturday west of Campbellsport. Fifteen-year-old
Sabrina Stahl and 17-year-old Caitlin Scannell died at the scene. Fond du Lac County sheriff's officials say the nine girls were in an SUV that was traveling at a high rate of speed, left the road
and rolled. The Fond du Lac Reporter says some of the girls weren't wearing seat belts.
