Nicole Vannorman says the Peshtigo nursing home where she works isn't paying workers on time and this isn't the first time it's happened. Vannorman works as a CNA at Whispering Oaks Care Center, she's one of about 50 employees who are being paid a week late this month, with just a one day notice.
Whispering Oaks' owners blame an accounting error for the delay, telling NBC 26: "To help employees cope with this short delay..we issued Christmas bonus checks early amounting to an extra $100 per full time and $50 per part time employee." Vannorman says this is the third time it's happened to her and she's filing a complaint with the Department of Workforce Development.
