The Brussels woman charged with the death of her eight-month-old daughter is entering inpatient treatment for alcohol and drug abuse. Melissa Martinez waived her preliminary hearing today. Her baby girl was found strapped in her car seat in an overheated SUV last month and was pronounced dead. She's been charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and child neglect resulting in death.
