A popular downtown Green Bay burger shop is looking to make a comeback! Al's Hamburger shop on Washington Street was destroyed by fire in mid August. Now we've learned a construction company has taken out a building permit to restore the small restaurant.
Leaders in downtown green bay thrilled the 77-year-old Green Bay landmark will be back up and running.
Jeff Mirkes of Downtown Green Bay Inc. says, "This is an opportunity for the business to look to the future, they've been here In Green Bay for 3 generations, and it's neat to know now that they're building for future generations."
