Severe Weather Takes Man's Life in Marinette County
Severe weather claiming a life in Wausaukee Friday night.
A severe storm with high winds and possible tornado caused extensive damage throughout the village.
The sheriffs department confirms a man in his 40s was killed after the trailer he was in collapsed.
Authorities say the winds were so strong cars were flipped over and dozens of trees were snapped in half.
Crews are working on the damage and trying to restore power.
The National Weather Service will survey the area Saturday to determine if a tornado touched down. in the area.
As of Friday night, nearly 2000 people are without power.

In Wausaukee, more than 1500 have had their power cut.
